Summer is here and what better way to celebrate than with some summery coloring books! Here are my top 10 favorite summer themed coloring books in no particular order.

Joshua Dunbar has one of the most unique illustration styles in the coloring community today. Island Cuties is one of the best showcases of his style and one of the most summery books on the market! It features beautifully designed characters, detailed summery scenes, and simpler focused images. The smaller size of this book also makes it perfect to pop into your beach bag for summery coloring on the go!

Cute Sea Life
Cute Sea Life is an adorably illustrated book that perfectly toes the line between bold & easy and cute & cozy coloring. Gabi Wolf hands down creates some of the cutest characters and her sea life critters are no exception! You'll find everything under the sea in this one, from mermaids to whales! The different ocean scenes instantly make me think of summer which made this a must add for this list.

Summer Mandalas
I've never been one for coloring mandalas but Alexandra Franzese's are absolutely irresistible! She features cute animals, and everyday objects in her mandalas which make them more interesting to color and play around with! Her Summer Mandalas book is one of my favorites. She features seashells, beach balls, tropical animals, etc. in these creatively designed mandalas. If you've never considered yourself a mandala colorist, consider giving this one a try this summer! You may be surprised!

Browmies is a Cute and Cozy book illustrator that I feel like isn't as well known as they should be! They put so much love into their books - from character introduction pages to a table of contents, their books go beyond just standard coloring pages. Their Sunny Days features new characters unique to this book in addition to recurring Browmies characters. If you're looking for loveable characters and summertime fun, consider picking this one up!

Matchstick Mouse: A Summer Coloring Book
If you haven't heard of Morgan O'Brien, you've been missing out! His Matchstick Mouse series features the cutest mouse, Matchstick, on many adventures with her friends. The summer coloring book was my first and still is one of my all time favorites. The pages are quick, cute, and a nice refresh from typical cute and cozy coloring. This is also one where the pages generally aren't too summer heavy, so this one could definitely be enjoyed year-round!

50 Vacation Themed Miniatures
It wouldn't be a list of favorites from me if I didn't include a Kameliya book! She has books for every season and 50 Vacation is not only my favorite summery book of hers, but it is my favorite overall! Kameliya has such a unique, personalized way of creating the cutest animals. Putting her adorable creatures in vacation themed settings is just the most fun combo, especially for summer!

Beachy Summer
Nia Nora is an illustrator I've gotten into in just the last half year or so and wow, was I missing out! If you love coloring chibi girls you must give hers a try! My favorite thing is the way she draws the eyes on her chibis. They're big and oh so cute! The individual strands in her chibis' hair is also a favorite for me as it makes it easy to add highlights or multiple hair colors! Her Beachy Summer is a bit simpler than some of her others which make it a great introduction book too.

Jade Summer has some of the most satisfyingly illustrated characters. Something about them just makes them an absolute favorite to color every time. Add those characters into beautiful, tropical, Hawaiian inspired settings and you have a winner for cozy summery coloring! From hiking volcanoes to luau dinners - this book will give you the perfect way to relax this summer. You may also find yourself accidentally booking a Hawaiian vacation 😆

50 Vacation and Summer Fairy Houses
Another Kameliya Angelkova book?! Absolutely! While her 50 Miniatures series is more well known, I think her fairy house series deserves just as much love! This book features full page scenes of summer inspired houses. Some examples include homes made out of watermelons, ice cream cones, and suitcases! You'll also find her classic characters scattered throughout this one too. If you're familiar with her work but haven't tried out a fairy house book yet - you absolutely should!

Ocean Scene
Ocean Scene is the perfect bold and easy choice for Summer as it features a variety of tropical fish, seashells, and beach motifs. If you're looking for an ocean themed book that's a little bit less detailed than something like the previously mentioned Cute Sea Life, this is the one for you!
